Battle of Bands

A maximalist band showdown with complex arrangements, fast tempo switches, dramatic crowd engagement and wall-of-sound instrumentals.

01Who can take part

  1. 016 participants per campus.

02Rules

  1. 01Participant registration time: 60 minutes prior to the event.
  2. 02Time limit: 8 minutes performance + 10 minutes set-up; exceeding the limit leads to a marks deduction.
  3. 03A minimum of 2 instrumentalists and 1 lead vocalist is compulsory.
  4. 04Students bring their own instruments; drums and a keyboard are provided by the host.
  5. 05Content with hate against individuals or religion, any dual meaning, or obscene content is strictly prohibited and leads to disqualification.
  6. 06The jury's decision is final.
