How you get
selected
NIFT Jodhpur's internal process for choosing the students who go to CONVERGE 2026.
Pick up to five. Get selected for up to three.
When you register, choose Event 1, Event 2 and Event 3 from the full programme — those three are required — and optionally Event 4 and Event 5. That's 5 at most, all different. You can be selected for at most 3 events: the first three selections confirmed are yours, and your remaining events lock.
Registration ≠ selection
Registering only enters you into NIFT Jodhpur's process. The final team is shortlisted from it, within the slots each event allows, up to a campus-wide maximum of 50 students.
Set by NIFT Jodhpur
- Registering for 3 to 5 events (Events 1–3 required, 4–5 optional).
- Selecting a student for at most 3 events — the rest lock automatically.
- Screening, trials and auditions run by club coordinators.
- Who gets shortlisted for each event.
Set by the CONVERGE rulebook
- A maximum of 50 participants per campus, including substitutes.
- Participant limits for every event (e.g. 1 boy for the 100 m).
- Final registration by the Campus SDAC through the CMS.

Club coordinators review interest against event slots and eligibility.

Trials
Trials, auditions or public voting — show your QR pass to be scanned in.
Step 04
Shortlist
A provisional shortlist is released for each event.
Step 05
Final 50
The Campus SDAC confirms the contingent of up to 50 students.
Step 06
Converge
The contingent travels and competes as Team NIFT Jodhpur.
